Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Fatto (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. The Service

Fatto helps you plan and time multi-dish meals by building a schedule from the recipes and serving time you provide. We continually improve the Service, so features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• The Starter plan is free. The Pro plan is billed on a recurring basis (currently $12/month) through our payment processor.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; access to Pro features continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
• We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice. Changes won't affect the period you've already paid for.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the recipes and other content you add to Fatto. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the Service to you — for example, to extract recipe steps and build your timelines. You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you add.

6. Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the Service. In particular, don't:

• Break the law or infringe others' rights using the Service.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems.
• Upload malicious code or content you have no right to share.
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

7. Food safety and your responsibility

Fatto provides timing and coordination guidance to help your dishes finish together. It is a planning aid, not a substitute for your own judgement. You are responsible for safe food handling, cooking foods to safe internal temperatures, and following sound kitchen-safety practices. Always verify doneness with a thermometer. We are not liable for the outcome of any meal.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep Fatto available and reliable, but we provide the Service "as is" and can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend or limit the Service for maintenance, security, or other operational reasons.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fatto and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or use the Service in a way that could harm us or other users.

11. Accessibility

We are committed to keeping Fatto accessible to everyone. Our Accessibility Statement describes our commitment and how to report a barrier. If any part of the Service is difficult for you to use, please tell us and we'll work to fix it.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Fatto is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting any formal proceeding, please contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally by emailing hello@itsfatto.com, and we ask that you give us a genuine chance to make things right. If a dispute can't be resolved informally, you agree to resolve it in the courts of that jurisdiction, and any claim must be brought on an individual basis. Nothing in these terms removes any right you have that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you as a consumer.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
